Vernon ``Peaches'' Lee Walton, 58, died July 10, 1996, in Beverly Manor Nursing Home.
Mr. Walton was a native of Portsmouth.
Survivors include nine children; a sister, Marie B. Savage of Portsmouth; a brother, Johnnie Walton of Portsmouth; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
The funeral will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Dennis Davis in Rogers Funeral Home Chapel. The family will assemble at the Rogers Funeral Home at 10:45 a.m. Monday.
