Winslow Jerry Arrowood, 72, of the 700 block of Oak Grove Road, died July 12, 1996.
He was born in Andrews, N.C., son of the late Gurley and Florence Truett Arrowood. Mr. Arrowood was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and retired co-owner of Inland Equipment Co.
Survivors include a sister, Jessie A. Martin of Lexington, N.C., and two brothers, G.G. Arrowood of Suffolk and L. Clinton Arrowood of Winston-Salem, N.C. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Hubert Arrowood.
A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Riverside Memorial Park with the Rev. Henry Napier officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association Memorials, 5349 E. Princess Anne Road, Norfolk, Va. 23502. Twiford Funeral Home, Great Bridge, is in charge.
