Glenwood Lewis Watson, 87, died Saturday, July 13, 1996, in a local hospital.
He was born in Nelson County, Va., and was retired from the Norfolk Naval Base. Mr. Watson was the widower of the late Hettye Lewis Watson and a member of Central Baptist Church.
He is survived by a stepdaughter, Vivian L. Lewis of Zuni, Va.; a sister, Helen W. Forrest of Norfolk; three brothers, Raymond M. Watson, Thomas F. Watson Sr. and G.L. Watson Jr., all of Norfolk; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Antioch Congregational Christian Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Baptist Church.
