Sarah Virginia Moody Green, 90, died July 12, 1996.
A native of Suffolk, she was a daughter of the late William Mills and Eliza Ann Parker Moody and the widow of Clyde T. Green Sr. Mrs. Green was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, the Wesley Bible class and Circle (NU)2.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Price of Wilmington, N.C., Bobbie Proffitt of Olympia, Wa., Eleanor Poole of Richmond; two sons, Clyde T. Green Jr. of Richmond and Richard Green of Cameron Park, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 3 p.m. in Main Street United Methodist Church by Dr. Alan R. Felumlee. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the R.W. Baker and Co. Funeral Home today from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Main Street Methodist Church Organ Fund, 202 N. Main St., Suffolk, Va. 23434 or to the Alzheimer's Association, (NU)20 Koger Center, Suite 233, Norfolk, Va. 23502.
