George John Liljegren, 54, of the 1200 block of East Ocean View Ave., died July 15, 1996, in his residence.
Mr. Liljegren, a native of Philadelphia, Pa., was a postal carrier in Norfolk for 22 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Shelby J. Liljegren; three daughters, Renee Anders, Doris Jutras, Alice Liljegren, all of Norfolk; a son, Mark Davis of Norfolk; a sister, Doris Martin; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will held at 3 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be private and at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
