Aggressive drivers who speed, change lanes excessively and otherwise endanger other motorists are the focus of a two-week crackdown on Northern Virginia interstate highways that began Monday.
Additional police will patrol Interstates 95, 395, 495 and 66, setting up sobriety checkpoints and checking drivers' compliance with safety laws such as wearing seatbelts and putting young children in safety seats, state police spokeswoman Lucy Caldwell said.
