Suzanne Probst ``Suzie'' Weber, 64, of the 2900 block of Summerhaven Road, died July 8, 1996, after an extended illness.
Born July 23, 1931 in Altoona, Pa., Mrs. Weber was the daughter of Frank Probst and Mildred Dale and was raised by her grandparents, Walter and Mable Dale. She was a former telephone operator with Bell Telephone Co. in Altoona and a fountain clerk for Peoples Drug Store. She graduated from Altoona High School in 1949. She was a volunteer for Virginia Beach General Hospital for 18 years.
Survivors include her husband George V. Weber, whom she married March 16, 1968, in Virginia Beach; a son, Dennis I. Weber of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Terry Probst of Altoona and Frank Probst of Burks, Va.; a sister, Mary Lee Morning of Altoona. She was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Probst.
Services were held July 12 in Altoona. Interment was in Alto Reste Park. E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home was in charge. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
