Elwood Rea, 80, of the 1300 block of Mediterranean Ave., died July 15, 1996, in Virginia Beach Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
He was a mechanic for Everett Jordan Motor Co. in Virginia Beach and retired in 1981 after 15 years of service. He was born in Charlottesville, Va.
Survivors include his wife, Aleana Perry Rea of Virginia Beach; a daughter, Suzanne Lowe of Virginia Beach; two sons, Robert E. Rea and Jerry D. Rea, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Peggy Santo of Coal Center, Pa.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A church service will be conducted today at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Desi W. Allen in Virginia Beach Pentecostal Church of Christ. Burial will be in Willowood Cemetery, Virginia Beach. Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel, is handling arrangements.
