Joseph Randolph Douthat Jr., 53, died July 15, 1996, in DePaul Hospital.
Mr. Douthat's survivors include his wife, Virginia Diana; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Randolph Douthat Sr.; a sister, Victoria A. Thomas of Plano, Texas; two brothers, Michael L. Douthat of Norfolk and James Lewis Douthat of Dallas, Texas; and one nephew, Robert F. Brothers of Norfolk.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday in Christ United Methodist Church, 1601 Bayview Blvd., in Norfolk.
