VIRGINIA BEACH - Mildred L. Moore, 73, of the 2100 block of Chicken Valley Road, died July 14, 1996, in Virginia Beach General Hospital. Born in Sutton, W.Va., she was a retired dental assistant for the Veterans Administration. She was a member of Virginia Dental Assistant Society, Tidewater Rose Society and Virginia Bonsai Society.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Moore Jr. of Virginia Beach; a stepson, Robert L. Moore III of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister, Josephine Chidester of Gassaway, W.Va.; two nephews, Jay Chidester of Sutton, W.Va., and James Kitts of Warner Robins, Ga.; three great-nieces, Vicki Key and Cathy Morrison, both of Sutton, W.Va., and Janice Marks of Gassaway, W.Va.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Bob Dewitt in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 360 Southport Circle, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452.
