Christopher Adil Landers, 20, of the 100 block of Tower Drive, died July 14, 1996.
Mr. Landers was born in Kenitra, Morocco. He was a lance corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is survived by his mother, Fatima Hemmi Landers, and father, Johnnie Thomas Landers; two brothers, Johnnie Anwar Landers of Greenville, N.C., Andrew Jamel Landers of Virginia Beach; maternal grandmother, Cohra Hemmi of Morocco; paternal grandfather, Johnnie C. Landers of El Paso, Texas.
A graveside service will be conducted in Rosewood Memorial Park, with full military honors Thursday at 2 p.m. with Father Carter officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Great Bridge, Chesapeake.
