Patsy Midgette Rasberry died Monday, July 15, 1996, in her home.
She was born to Lucille Midgette and late Dallas Midgette in Norfolk at their home on Nov. 29, 1932. She was a member of Faith Acts Church. She was the manager of the fragance department at Proffit's Department Store. She was a mother, a wife, grandmother, friend and a bright shining light to all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her mother, Lucille J. Midgette of Chesapeake; a brother, Dallas W. Midgette of Long Beach, Calif.; husband, Eddie C. Rasberry Jr. of Chesapeake; three daughters, Brenda Juel, Carol Millis, and Carmon Pizzanello, all of Chesapeake; seven grandchildren, Brandi, Breanna, Brittany and Bo Juel, Tyler Millis, Rachel and Glen II Pizzanella.
A funeral will be held at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, 524 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. W. Joe Warren officating. Burial will follow in Riverside Memorial Park. Viewing and visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. We praise God that she is in heaven and rejoicing with Jesus.
