SHIRLEY V. WILLIAMS

Shirley V. Williams, 61, of the 1300 block of Warfield Drive, died July 16, 1996, in Maryview Hospital after enduring a long illness.

Mrs. Williams, a native of Portsmouth, was one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include her husband, Alton Williams; two daughters, Kim Tolbert of Portsmouth and Tandra D. Williams of Bowie, Md.; two sons, Ronald J. Williams of Portsmouth and Tyrone G. Williams of Dale City, Va.; four sisters, Annie Mae Hosley of Baltimore, Md., and Bernice Williams, Hortense Long and Arlease Allen, all of Portsmouth; five brothers, James Walker of Virginia Beach, Charles Walker of Arlington, Va., and Jack Walker, Rudolph Walker and Phillip Walker, all of Portsmouth; four grandchildren; an uncle; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4050 Elliott Ave., Portsmouth. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Friday. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
