Benjamin Webb, 58, of the 900 block of Bay St., died July 16, 1996, in Portsmouth Naval Hospital.
He worked at Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a member of the security police. Mr. Webb was retired from the U.S. Army after 24 years with the rank of sergeant major.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Thomas Steele in Serenity Funeral Home Chapel. Burial with military honors will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Viewing will begin Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friends may join the Webb family at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Family and friends will assemble at 900 Bay St., Portsmouth, Saturday at 10:15 a.m. for the procession.
