ANNIE H. LAWRENCE

Annie Holland Lawrence, 77, of the 200 block of Avondale Road, died July 15, 1996, in the home of her son in Portsmouth.

Mrs. Lawrence, the widow of Howard Lawrence, was a native of Nansemond County, Holland, Franklin, Va. She was a member of New Testament Church, Portsmouth, and Rhoda Chapter (NU)231, Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include two daughters, Jessie Holley of Jacksonville, Fla., and Linell S. Lawrence of Portsmouth; two sons, Ashley Lawrence and Howard M. Lawrence, both of Portsmouth; a brother, Richard Shirley Holland of Holland, Va.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by Elder C.H. Bowens in New Testament Church. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Viewing at Corprew Funeral Home will begin at 10 a.m. today. The family will be at 3622 Princeton Place, Apt. A-7, Portsmouth, and will assemble at the funeral home at 10:15 a.m. Friday for the procession to the church. The family will return to the church for a repast following the funeral.
