VIRGINIA BEACH - Susan Chapman Ainslie, 40, of the 4700 block of Parvathi Court, died July 16, 1996, at her residence.
Ms. Ainslie was born in Richmond and was the marketing director for Benchmark Building Corporation. She had previously worked for R.G. Moore Building Corporation and Rose and Krueth Realty Corporation. She was an active member of Tidewater Builders Association and its Sales and Marketing Council. Ms. Ainslie was a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
Survivors include her mother, Jeanne Chapman Ainslie; her father, John W. ``Jack'' Ainslie Sr.; her two brothers, Jeffrey W. Ainslie and his wife, Cindy, and his daughter, Michelle Renee Ainslie, and John W. Ainslie Jr. and his daughter, Renee Christine Fournier, all of Virginia Beach.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church of Norfolk, 312 Kempsville Road, by Dr. Bob Reccord. The family will receive friends at the church today from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to First Baptist Church of Norfolk.
