LAWRENCE L. KEPNER

Lawrence Linn Kepner, 63, died Wednesday, July 17, 1996, in Albemarle Hospital.

He was a native of Gettysburg, Pa., and had retired from the National Security Agency. He had also been employed at the Mariner Days Inn in Kill Devil Hills. He was a member of Poplar Branch Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Kepner was the son of the late Lawrence E. and Dorothy Belle Linn Kepner and the husband of Betty Fissel Kepner of the home.

Besides his wife, Mr. Kepner is survived by a daughter, Debra Kepner of Glen Burnie, Md.; three sons, Jeffrey Kepner of Pasadena, Md., Phillip Kepner of Dallas, Texas, and Vincent Kepner of Glen Burnie; a stepmother, Hazel G. Kepner of Emmitsburg, Md.; three stepsisters; and 10 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday in the Poplar Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Jordon officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Poplar Branch Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 247, Grandy, N.C. 27939.
