Police have arrested an 18-year-old and charged him with capital murder in the July 9 shooting death of a 20-year-old man on Reservoir Avenue, a spokesman said.
Police arrested and charged Dawub A. Kennedy, of the 2500 block of Jamaica Ave., just after midnight Thursday. He was also charged with use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
The victim, Demetrius Rudy Rogers, was found in his home in the 1300 block of Reservoir Ave. about 3:25 p.m. on July 9, police said. An investigation is continuing, and police said they do not have a motive for the killing.
