Grace Bargamin Bohannon, 95, died Friday, July 19, 1996.
She was born in Capron, Va., and was the daughter of the late Daisy Tall and the Rev. Vincent Walter Bargamin. She was the widow of Marshall Topping Bohannon Sr.
Mrs. Bohannon was a member of Larchmont United Methodist Church, a graduate of Longwood College, a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and the Norfolk Yacht and Country Club.
Survivors include two sons, Robert LaPointe Bohannon and his wife Ann, and Marshall Topping Bohannon Jr. and his wife Connie, all of Norfolk; four grandchildren, Page B. Irby of Virginia Beach, Marshall Topping Bohannon III of Miami, Fla., Grace Leigh B. Marshall of Malvern, Pa., and Catherine LaPointe Bohannon of Silver Spring, Md.; four great-grandchildren; and a niece, Grace Kite Howard of Norfolk.
A private family service is scheduled in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Dr. Jerry O. Campbell. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Larchmont United Methodist Church, 1106 Larchmont Crescent, Norfolk 23508. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
