Katherine Rice Armstrong, 81, of 1433 W. 38th St., died July 17, 1996, at Lafayette Villa Nursing Home.
Mrs. Armstrong was born in North Carolina. She was a member of Norfolk United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Willie R. Armstrong, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Augusta Yates, and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Eloise Quidly, all of Norfolk; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 22, 1996, in Norfolk United Methodist Church, the Rev. Finley Jones presiding. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3:15 p.m. Sunday. The remains will be taken to the church at 10:30 a.m. The family will assemble at the residence at 12:30 p.m. for the procession. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
