Odelia C. Sprinkel went to be with her late husband of 56 years, William Henry Sprinkel, on July 19, 1996.
Mrs. Sprinkel, a homemaker, was a native of Caroline County, Va. She was a member of Virginia Beach Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include two daughters, Anna L. Pablo of Norfolk and Barbara Muffenbier of Virginia Beach; two sons, Lester Sprinkel and William C. Sprinkel, both of Virginia Beach; a sister, Lois Krochinsky; nine grandchildren, Dona Story, Doreen Fentress, Teresa Stephens, Darlene Brown, Erik Muffenbier, Michael Sprinkel, Sharon Gray and Paul and Daniel Sprinkel; nine great-grandchildren, Stephanie Ann Stephens, Chelsea Ann Muffenbier, Jennea Lea Sprinkel, Chris Mann, Bryce Lindner and Brent, Michael, Megan and Melanie Sprinkel.
A homegoing service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by the Revs. Tony Homer, W.S. Kidd, and J. Milton Atkins, in Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends in the funeral home Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. Friends are also invited to view Mrs. Sprinkel at their leisure beginning at 4 p.m. today.
