Friday's trial involving the town of Kitty Hawk and Cheryl McMahon, who owns a commercial horseback riding facility on Poor Ridge Road, has been postponed to Friday, July 26.
Town ordinances prohibit ``commercialized horse activities and/or use of the Town roads and right-of-way land and public beaches by non-resident horse persons.'' The town is suing McMahon, claiming that she violated the ordinance.
At the suggestion of her attorney, McMahon stopped charging customers near the end of June. by CNB
