Lonnie Roger Christmas Sr., 49, died July 16, 1996, in Holly Hill, Fla.
Mr. Christmas, a native of Marion, S.C., was a crane operator.
Survivors include two daughters, Dianna Christmas-Jenkins of Virginia Beach, Melissa Christmas of Portsmouth; Lonnie R. Spicer of Chesapeake; four sisters, Ruby C. Marsh of Suffolk, Barbara C. Kauffman, Myrtle C. Williamson, and Wanda C. Cortesini, all of Portsmouth; two brothers, Riley T. Christmas Sr. of Chesapeake, Arthur M. Christmas of Portsmouth; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Della Diggs.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Snellings Funeral Home, Churchland Chapel, today from 7 to 9 p.m. The family will also be at 3605 Calverton Court, Chesapeake, at other times.
