Ira ``Jay'' Ross Jr., 43, of the 200 block of S. Budding Ave., died at his residence Friday, July 19, 1996.
He was the son of Ira Jay Ross Sr. and Barbara Rooney Ross. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Feb. 20, 1953. Mr. Ross worked for Smith Electric Co. in Virginia Beach as an electrician and was a member of Princess Anne Plaza United Methodist Church.
Besides his parents he is survived by three sons, Jason Ross, Joshua Ross and Justin Ross, all of Lisbon, Ohio; three brothers, Patrick ``Pat'' Ross, Mark K. Ross, Charles ``Chuck'' Ross, all of Virginia Beach; two sisters, Martha A. Jones and Katherine M. Ross, both of Virginia Beach; a niece and a nephew also survives.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Altmeyer Funeral Home.
