Police are seeking people's help with these cases:
PORTSMOUTH
The body of a newborn baby was found in a trash plant about 12:40 p.m. on June 24.
Workers at the Southeastern Public Service Authority plant, in the first block of Victory Boulevard, found the body on a conveyor belt.
It is unclear which city the body may have come from; several cities make deliveries at the plant.
The newborn, a black girl, could have been as old as 3 to 4 days.
VIRGINIA BEACH
David Lee Plymel, 36, is wanted for attempted malicious assault, use of a firearm, felony escape, embezzlement, obtaining money under false pretense, and bigamy.
Plymel is described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 175 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He also could be in the Elizabeth City area.
Michael Heaton Fetter, 23, is wanted for three counts of forgery and uttering.
Fetter is described as white, 5 feet 5 inches tall and 175 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
SUFFOLK
On July 13, a home in the 1000 block of Truman Road was burglarized.
Entry was gained through a rear door.
Items stolen included a Quasar 21-inch television, a Sony 19-inch television, a Quasar VCR, a Singer portable sewing machine, a power saw and a portable radio.
NEWPORT NEWS
On July 7 at 11 a.m., Christopher Nielsen, 21, was found dead behind the Blue Beard II lounge in the 15000 block of Warwick Blvd.
He was last seen talking to a man at Fort Eustis about 1:30 a.m. that same day. Police believe that man may know about Nielsen's activities before he died.
The man police are seeking for questioning is described as white, in his 40s, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 150 pounds, with receding, medium-brown hair and a light mustache. He wore a small earring in his left ear.
He is believed to be driving a 1989 or 1990 red convertible Mustang 5.0 that has minor damage to the right rear fender. ILLUSTRATION: Drawing
