'Tis the season to hit the beach - and the beach volleyball. A crew

of vacationers from Blackcreek, Va., gets into the spirit with an

impromptu game near the Herbert C. Bonner Bridge. The sand bar that

serves as their court is the spot where the dredge Northerly Island,

driven by hurricane-force winds, severed the span at Oregon Inlet in

October 1990. by CNB
