Arthur Moore of the 1500 block of Dungee St., died July 19, 1996, in a local nursing home.
Born in Beaufort County, S.C., he was retired as a laborer from Hunt's Construction.
Survivors include three daughters, Annie Baum and Utelia Moore, both of Chesapeake, and Ella Benn of Portsmouth; a son, William Moore of Norfolk; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Roosevelt Memorial Park by the Rev. Anthony Moses. The family will assemble at 2001 McLean St. on the day of the service. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
