Josephine R. Kidder, 70, died July 17, 1996.
She was the widow of retired Major William ``Blink'' Kidder. Survivors include four sons, Steven, Stuart, Grover and George Righter; a brother, Fred Grover; and nine grandchildren. She was the great-granddaughter of J.E.B. Stuart. A retired guidance counselor for Hampton City Schools, Mrs. Kidder was a member of Who's Who of American Education.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 26, 1996, in Arlington National Cemetery.
