Margaret Eaton Pohl, wife of the late Captain Harold John Pohl, U.S. Navy, died on July 19, 1996, at The Fairfax, a retirement community near Fort Belvoir, Va. She was 88.
Born in Kalispell, Montana, she attended the University of Washington. Following her husband's retirement after 30 years of Navy service, they lived in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, before moving to Virginia Beach, where they lived for more than 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Virginia P. Van Auken of Chesterfield County, Va., and Jane P. Wilkinson of Great Falls, Va.; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2:45 p.m. on July 26, 1996, at the Memorial Chapel, Fort Myer, Va., followed by interment in Arlington National Cemetery. Arrangements by Green Funeral Home, Herndon, Va.
