Pauline Bradford Walker, 82, of the 600 block of Coral Key East, died July 21, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Walker was born in Asheville, N.C. In previous years, she was very active in Willowwood Presbyterian Church of which she was a member.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Herbert Walker; a daughter, Mary W. Baldwin and her husband, John, of Chesapeake; two sons, H. Michael Walker and his wife, Carole, of Virginia Beach and Kenneth D. Walker and his wife, Susanne, of Glendale, Calif.; a brother, Norman Bradford and his wife, Virginia, of Asheville, N.C.; two grandsons, Bradford M. Walker and his wife, Gina, of Chesapeake and Thomas S. Walker of Washington, D.C.; and a great-granddaughter, Courtney Lynn Walker of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Jeff Heath in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
She was a loving wife and mother. Throughout her life, she had an extraordinary talent for drawing and possessed many other artistic abilities. She was a pillar of strength for her whole family. In declining health for many years, she nevertheless kept her wits and her humor intact until the end.
