Hugh Harrison McAden, 80, of 4800 Highway 57 North, died July 23, 1996, in Duke University Medical Center.
Mr. McAden was born Feb. 13, 1916 in Caswell County, N.C. He was a member of Semora United Methodist Church. He was a World War II Air Force veteran and a member of Semora UMC, Ruritan Club. Mr. McAden was retired from Life of Virginia as an insurance agent. He was the son of the late John Henry McAden and Ella Yarbrough McAden.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Welsted McAden; two daughters, Patricia Brunson of Semora, Mary McAden of Durham, N.C.; a sister, Mary Satterfield of Milton, N.C.; and three grandchildren.
Services are incomplete at Brooks and White Funeral Home, Roxboro, N.C. Memorials may be made to the Semora Volunteer Fire Department, Semora, 27343.
