Minnie B. Young, 82, died July 22, 1996, at her home in Chesapeake.
Mrs. Young was born in Baltimore, Md., and later moved to York, Pa. She lived the last eight years in Chesapeake and was a member of the Great Bridge United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Wilbur (Carol) Ford of Chesapeake; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at the Great Bridge United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. the Rev. Robert Hastings will officiate the services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Great Bridge United Methodist Church. Altmeyer Funeral Home is handling the arrangments.
