Edna P. Bailey, 83, of the 2500 block of Beaufort Ave., died July 23, 1996, in a Virginia Beach hospital.
Mrs. Bailey, the widow of Raymond H. Bailey, was a native of Galax, Va. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Selva J. Bland of Virginia Beach; a son, Ronald Rex Bailey of San Angelo, Texas; five sisters, Elsie Sawyer of Reading, Pa., Margaret L. Tebault and Gloria Hollendursky, both of Chesapeake, Bonnie L. Sechrist and Nancy L. Russell, both of Virginia Beach; a brother, John C. Lane of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m.
