Josephine Forbes Richey, 82, of the 3400 block of E. Bonner Drive, died July 24, 1996, in a Chesapeake hospital.
Mrs. Richey, the widow of Fred K. Richey, was a native of South Mills, N.C.
Survivors include two daughters, Gloria R. Joles of Jacksonville, N.C., Sheila A. Richey of Norfolk; a son, Orin A. Richey of Chesapeake; a brother, Charles Forbes of New Jersey; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Ernest L. Trueblood in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, today from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
