Hope Eccles Douglas Smith, 92, of Westminster-Canterbury of Virginia Beach, died in a Virginia Beach hospital on Wednesday July 24, 1996.
She was a native of Boston, Mass., and the widow of Judson Thomas Smith. She had retired after 17 years as a receptionist with DePaul Hospital. Mrs. Smith was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, the Circle on the Bay of the Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters, and Norfolk Yacht and Country Club.
No services are planned. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Westminster-Canterbury of Virginia Beach, 3100 Shore Drive, Virginia Beach, 23451. Cox Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
