DOROTHY F. CROSS

Dorothy Forehand Cross, 82, of Edenton Prime Time Village died July 23, 1996. A native of Belhaven, N.C., she was the widow of Forest Clifton Cross.

She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Shirley C. and Wilber A. Parker and Betty Jean Cross, all of Edenton; a sister, Mary Moss of Portsmouth; one brother, John T. Forehand III of Huntsville, Ala.; three grandchildren, Virginia and husband, Keith Brechtelsbauer of Wichita Falls, Texas, Gary Allen and wife, Susan Parker, of Neshanic, N.J., Carey Wayne Parker of Roanoke, Va.; and five great-grandchildren, Erich and Ian Brechtelsbauer, Jessica and Richard Lojewski and Cameron Parker.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Meadowbrook Cemetery by Dr. Stan Smith. Memorials may be made to the Chowan Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 629, Edenton, 27932 or the Edenton United Methodist Church, 225 Virginia Road, Edenton, 27932. The Evans Funeral Home of Edenton is in charge.
