Julia Bledsoe Lynn, 85, died July 22, 1996, at Riverside Regional Convalescent Center in Newport News.
She was a native of Hanover County, Va., but had lived on the Peninsula for 56 years. Mrs. Lynn was a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Graydon D. Lynn of Virgina Beach, Donald L. Lynn of Gloucester Point, and Thomas B. Lynn of Gloucester; three sisters, Mabel Lewis of Richmond, Alice Bledsoe of Richmond, and Cabel Amory of Arlington, Texas; six grandchildren, Todd M. Lynn, David Lynn, Tracy P. Lynn, Greg Lynn, Patrick Lynn and Kristen Lynn; and four great-grandchildren.
There will be a graveside service 1 p.m. today in Parklawn Memorial Park conducted by the Rev. Don Gover. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 303 Butler Farm Road, Hampton, Va. 23666. Lawrence B. Wood Funeral Home is in charge.
