MILDRED V. FELTS

Mildred Vick Felts, 86, of the 1400 block of N. High St., died July 25, 1996, at Southampton Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Felts, a native of Newsoms, was the daughter of the late William Thomas and Mary Smith Cogsdale, and was the widow of Eldridge S. Felts. She was predeceased by her first husband, Eddie Louis Vick. She was a member of Newsoms Baptist Church. She was a retired waitress and farmer.

She is survived by a daughter, Adelle Vick Holloman of Newsoms; a son, Marvin Randolph Vick of Woodbridge, Va.; two sisters, Margaret C. Newton Whitley of New Orleans and Catherine C. Delmonte of Chesapeake; two brothers, Willie Cogsdale and Herbert Cogsdale, both of Virginia Beach; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great- grandchild. She was predeceased by a son, Linwood Charlie Vick.

The graveside funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hollywood Cemetery, Newsoms, by the Rev. Kenneth Williams. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Wright Funeral Home.
