A photo on Wednesday's MetroNews front, of the return of the

George Washington Battle Group, showed Petty Officer 1st Class Andre

Hill of Virginia Beach greeting his wife, Mary Hill, children and

niece. His wife was misidentified in the caption.

A two-vehicle collision in Northern Suffolk Monday afternoon

occurred on the bridge over Bennetts Creek, and not at Mills E.

Godwin Bridge, as stated in a Metro brief Tuesday.

``The Barber of Seville'' and ``Aida'' are not among this

season's presentations at the Harrison Opera House, as implied by a

story in the July 24 special section Living in South Hampton Roads.

The 1996-97 schedule includes ``Lucia,'' ``Magic Flute,'' ``Julius

Caesar,'' ``I Pagliacci'' and ``Oklahoma!''

Also in that story, about Norfolk, the first name of city real

estate assessor Wayne Trout was wrong. by CNB
