A 12-year-old Kill Devil Hills boy was hurt when his bicycle collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Colington Drive and Lancer Court at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
State troopers said Ryan Neal Baker suffered a broken right leg when his bike hit the side of a Nissan Minivan driven by Carl Ray Cruse of Kannapolis, N.C. Cruse was not hurt.
Trooper W.A. Joyner said Baker was taken to Regional Medical Center in Kitty Hawk and later transferred to Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City.
Baker is listed in stable condition.
