Jacob Eugene Boykins, 83, of the 300 block of Wales Circle, died July 24, 1996, in Southampton County. He was a retired farmer.
Survivors include three sisters, Ellen Boykins of Hampton, Ruth Weathers of Franklin, and Ella Scott of Portsmouth; two brothers, Benjamin Boykins of Hampton and Alexander Boykins of Portsmouth; a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be 1 p.m. today in Helping Hand Cemetery, Courtland. Engram Funeral Home, Courtland, is in charge.
