Blanca Herlinda Garcia, 7, of the 400 block of Pendelton St., died July 22, 1996.
She was a student at St. Helena and a native of Fresno, Calif. She was a member of St. Mark R.Z.U.A. Church, Norfolk.
Survivors include her mother, Suzetta Garcia of Norfolk; her father, Agustin Garcia of Mexico; two sisters, Lunetta Joyner and Yesenia Garcia, both of Norfolk; a brother, Micheal Garcia of Norfolk; maternal grandparents, William and Lunetta Joyner of Norfolk; paternal grandmother, Blanca Herlinda Martinez of Mexico; a special friend of the family, Linwood Brown of Norfolk; and a host of other family and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Monday by the Rev. Benjamon Thomas in St. Mark R.Z.U.A., Colonial Avenue. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Family and friends will be received at 1357 Halstead Ave. A wake will be held Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Hale Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will assemble at 1357 Halstead Ave., Monday at 11 a.m. for the procession to the church. The remains will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Monday. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
