IRENE M. FOLLIN

Irene Mae Follin, 78, of the Green Run section of Virginia Beach, died July 25, 1996.

Mrs. Follin was born in Hagerstown, Md. She was a member of St. Lukes Catholic Church, she belonged to the Sunshine Club of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and she was a secretary for the McArdle Printing Company.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marion and Forrest ``Buzzy'' Fortner; four grandchildren, Rick Fortner of Virginia Beach, Kurt Fortner and his wife, Sherrie of Newport News, Pamela Walton and her husband, Kenton of Virginia Beach, Brian Fortner of Virginia Beach; and four great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Kurt Jr., Kyle, and one unborn grandchild; along with five sisters; and a brother.

Friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Lukes Catholic Church, 2304 Salem Road, Virginia Beach, Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. At 7 p.m. there will be a Mass of the Resurrection celebrated by Father Gene Teslovic. Internment will be held Monday at the Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, Md. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
