Irene Mae Follin, of the Green Run section of Virginia Beach, died July 25, 1996.
Mrs. Follin was born in Hagerstown, Md. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church, where she belonged to the Sunshine Club of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. She was a secretary for the McArdle Printing Company of Washington, D.C.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Marion and Forrest ``Buzzy'' Fortner; four grandchildren, Richard ``Rick'' Fortner of Virginia Beach, Kurt Fortner and his wife, Sherri, of Newport News, Pamela Walton and her husband, Trenton, of Virginia Beach and Brian Fortner of Virginia Beach; four great-grandchildren, Mitchell, Kurt Jr., Kyle and one unborn grandchild along with five sisters; and one brother.
Friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2304 Salem Road, Virginia Beach, today from 5 to 7 p.m. At 7 p.m. there will be a Mass of the Resurrection celebrated by Father Gene Teslovic. Interment will be held Monday at the Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, Md. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Altmeyer Funeral Home is in charge.
