Robert E. Stainberg, 73, of the 3900 block of Edinburgh Dr., died July 27, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Stainberg was a native of Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Stainberg; a daughter, Marylin Meyerwotiz of Elizabeth, N.J.; a son, Dean Stainberg of Redding, Calif.; a brother, Charles Stone; and five grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, July 29, 1996, at Forest Lawn Cemetery by Rabbi Samuel Sobel. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
