H. Ray Harris, 70, died July 26, 1996, in Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation.
A native of Norfolk, he was a navy veteran and was retired from civil service.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Harris of Asheboro; daughters, Debra Haas of Medicine Lodge, Kansas, Rebecca McPherson of Cullowhee, N.C.; son, David Harris of Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Dorothy Beucler of Locust Grove, Va.; brother, William Harris of Virginia Beach; and six grandchildren.
No funeral is planned. Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. at the family home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, N.C. 27204-009 or to the donor's choice. Pugh Funeral Home is in charge.
