Genevieve ``Jeanne'' Lawler, 63, of the 4600 block of Dock Landing Road since 1983, died July 27, 1996, in a local hospital.
A native of Jersey City, N.J., she was Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Lawler; three daughters, Joyce Lawler of King William Co., Va., Colleen Lawler and Denise Lawler of Chesapeake; a son, Dennis Lawler of Portsmouth; four sisters of New Jersey; three brothers of New Jersey.
A funeral service will be private. Snellings Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, is in charge. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday to greet friends.
