ANNIE J. JOHNSON

Annie J. Johnson, of the 300 block of Elm Ave., died July 25, 1996, in Maryview Hospital, Portsmouth.

A native of Norfolk County, Va., Mrs. Johnson was a member of Divine Baptist Church, Chesapeake.

Survivors include her husband, Prime Johnson; two daughters, Myra J. Johnson of Portsmouth, Ibera M. Batson of Providence, R.I.; two sons, Prime T. Johnson, Arthur C. Johnson, both of Portsmouth; two sisters, Florence M. Robinson, Audrey Myers, both of Chesapeake; two brothers, Willie L. Kidd, Jack E. Kidd, both of Chesapeake; four grandchildren, Janine A. Johnson of Portsmouth, Sequoila L. Johnson of Germany, Shannon N. Batson, Ebony C. Batson, both of Providence; three aunts, Alberta Smith of Chesapeake, Mary Parker Odom of Norfolk and Lubertha Miller of Chesapeake; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Tuesday in New Hope Baptist Church, Chesapeake, by the Rev. Sidney Foster. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Corprew Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Viewing will begin at noon Monday at the funeral home. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday
