Francis George Maresca, 61, died July 24, 1996, in Hackensack, N.J.
Mr. Maresca had retired as a chief petty officer in the U.S. Navy after 20 years service and also was a computer analyst with AT&T, with 18 1/2 of years service.
Survivors include his wife, Maureen Wood of Louisville, Ky.; a son, David L. Maresca of Chesapeake; seven sisters, Mary Smith, Etta Howard, Betty Cushing, Ronnie Maino, Barbara Howells, Gloria Gardner and Ray Lussier; four grandchildren, Jeffrey and Ryan Wood, and Lyndsay and Alyson Maresca.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, 1996, in Holloman-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, by Father James F. Mennis, Chaplain, USN. Burial is in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Monday to greet friends. Military honors will be accorded.
