Mrs. Shelley Keatley Digh, 44, of Mint Hill, died Saturday, July 27, 1996, at her residence.

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Shelley will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 29, 1996, at First Baptist Church of Charlotte with the Rev. Dr. Charles Page officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Digh was born Nov. 12, 1951, in Portsmouth. She graduated from Saint Margaret's High School in Tappahannock, Va., and Stratford College in Danville, Va. She was self-employed as an accountant and was previously employed by B.W. Miller Co. for 17 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Charlotte and the Sandra Page Sunday School Class. She was an avid golfer and a member of Pine Lake Country Club, the PLCC's Eighteen Holers and Interclub, Central Carolina's Golf Association and the North Carolina Real Estate Association.

Shelly was a consummate mother, a wonderful wife and a faithful friend. All who had the pleasure of crossing paths with Shelly will cherish her memory. She was an inspiration to all of us.

She is survived by her husband, George B. Digh; a son, Cody Digh of Mint Hill; a daughter, Nicole Hoy of Wilmington; an aunt, Virginia Idoux of Virginia Beach; an uncle, Lt. Cmdr. Alvin Idoux, (Ret.) of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Richard Keatley of Norfolk, Lt. Col. Linwood Knight, (Ret.) of Leavenworth, Kan.; and her mother, Mrs. Mildred Keatley of Suffolk. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Mr. Richard Keatley.
